Steve has worked as a class teacher in North London and Cheshire since 2016, teaching across KS1 and KS2. He taught at a large Multi-Academy Trust in North London, where he held the role of Mathematics Subject Leader from 2019 – 2022. During his time as Mathematics Subject Leader, Steve oversaw the implementation of a new mathematics curriculum based on the principles of the concrete, pictorial, abstract model. Steve is passionate about mathematics and believes, that with the correct opportunities, every child can become confident and enthusiastic mathematicians. Steve loves to bring maths alive through real-life, real-world problems and examples.
